Executive Function Planning Task (7 Scenarios): Weekly Scheduling Worksheets
Get all our digital worksheets and save
A print-at-home weekly planning task for adults. The client gets a fictional week of appointments and errands, a few rules and a blank weekly planner, and organizes the week while you watch how they plan, follow rules, notice conflicts, handle distraction and judge their own performance. Every observation on the scoring form is behavioral and countable, so it documents cleanly and repeats well across sessions.
What's included (19 pages, US Letter):
- A one-page clinician guide: set-up, script, scoring codes and eight planning strategies to coach
- Weekly Planner sheet, Monday to Sunday, 7 am to 9 pm, with an item tracker and could-not-schedule and next-week boxes
- Scoring and Observation form, one per session
- My Planning Steps, a client take-home sheet for carry-over
- 7 scenarios across 4 levels, each with a client page and a one-page answer key: reference solution, conflicts to find, rules, distraction timing and an interruption script
How it's graded: Level 1 has 8 items, 1 conflict and 1 rule. Level 2 adds flexible items, travel time and 2 rules. Level 3 adds missing information, a phone call and 3 rules across 17 items. Level 4 adds pacing rules, dependencies and a rule dilemma.
Who it's for: occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists and rehabilitation teams working on executive function, planning and return to work or school, including after a stroke or brain injury.
