Home & Daily Living: Life Skills Worksheets for Adults (32 Worksheets)
Get all our digital worksheets and save
Life skills worksheets for adults, built from the everyday things people really handle at home: care labels and a washing machine panel, recipe cards and food dates, store flyers and a pantry shelf, voicemails and texts, a chore rota and the bin calendar, bus timetables, the mail pile, and an emergency contacts card. 32 worksheets climb through 4 levels, from reading one care label to planning laundry day around a broken machine, and every worksheet has its own answer page. This is the visual pack of the line: every task shows greyscale pictures of the clothes, foods, products and places it is about, so it prints cleanly in black and white.
Designed by a clinician with 10+ years in brain injury and cognitive rehabilitation.
What's included (104 pages in two PDFs, US Letter):
- 32 worksheets, 8 at each level: Find, Use, Compare and decide, Plan and check
- An answer key in its own PDF: an answer page for every worksheet, with a note for the helper
- How to use the pack, a contents page, and a cue and progress sheet for all 32 worksheets
- 8 real-life practice cards and 5 blank templates: a laundry guide with the care symbols, a week planner, an emergency contacts card, a phone message pad and a shopping list
- U.S. edition: U.S. units, spelling and a 419 area code
Skills practiced: reading a care label and sorting a basket into loads, choosing a wash cycle, following a recipe and putting its steps in order, use-by and best-before dates, writing a shopping list from what is already in the kitchen, comparing two store flyers under a budget, taking a phone message, deciding whether to call or text, reading a chore rota and a waste collection calendar, choosing a safe cleaning product, reading a bus timetable and a route list, comparing fares, sorting the mail, keeping a warranty card, a smoke alarm leaflet and a power outage notice, planning an urgent repair call, a week of chores, a two-stop bus trip, a landlord's inspection notice, and finding the mistakes in someone else's plan.
How it's graded: Level 1 finds one fact in one document. Level 2 works something out. Level 3 compares two sources under a rule, such as a budget or a deadline. Level 4 plans across several papers, copes with a change partway, then checks the work. Levels 3 and 4 use two pages, so every document prints full size, and a cue tally on every worksheet records how much help was needed.
Who it's for: occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, special education and transition teachers, day programs, supported living staff, support workers and families working with adults who are learning or relearning to run a home, including after a stroke or brain injury, with a learning disability, or in the early stages of dementia with a family member alongside.
