Thirty printable problem solving worksheets built on realistic everyday situations: a forgotten door lock, a visitor arriving in an hour, a wrong turn as it gets dark. Each situation has more than one reasonable answer, and the aim is the thinking and the discussion rather than a single correct response.

Designed by a clinician with 10+ years in brain injury and cognitive rehabilitation.

What's included (30 worksheets):

  • 10 basic worksheets: choose the best option from a short list
  • 10 moderate worksheets: generate your own solutions and weigh them
  • 10 complex worksheets: several problems at once, with priorities and backup plans
  • Facilitator answer guide with suggested responses and discussion notes
  • US Letter and A4 versions, print-ready

How it's graded: from choosing an option, to generating solutions, to juggling competing problems.

Who it's for: OTs and SLPs working on executive function, rehabilitation and community programs, adult mental health settings, educators, and families.

After printing and reading the various levels, I can say it is a well organized resource. Just know that some are very very simple and work up to teen/adult problem solving. I happen to like the various levels because even though I mainly work with teens, there are times when even the teens who have autism can struggle with decision making. It is a good resource, just know there are simple questions that might be too easy.
